In a world filled with trials, tribulation and inflation we don't think much about our heavenly rewards that God will grant us on our arrival! As believers we are assigned work to do while on our earthly stay that will be judged in the future at the judgment seat of Christ.
Jesus tells us not to lay up treasure on earth knowing that the wealth of the world and the influence of capitalism and the deceitfulness of riches can dull our passion for Christ and His mission that He has for His body. Heavenly rewards differ from worldly trophies and prizes given for winners because they are spiritual gifts given for our service in the faith.
There will be rewards that the heart of man knows not of or has experienced, that which God has provided for His servants, crowns and jewels and things that we cannot imagine prepared for glory!
"For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." Matthew 6:21
