Let love be without hypocrisy. Abor what is evil. Cling to what is good. Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit; rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer, distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality. Romans 12:9-13

One of the greatest gifts of all is love, the very nature and character of God, for God is love and we, His children possess this wonderful gift! Love has many attributes as we will see in this Devotional teaching and is the primary source of all ministry, to love as God loves is our motivation, it is what inspires us to lay down our lives for others!

I remember years ago when I was first saved, the love I felt from the body of Christ as I grew close to many of my spiritual brothers and sisters. But I am afraid as Jesus spoke to His disciples that the love of many has grown cold. Lawlessness is one reason, but another is we never have the opportunity to get to know our brothers and sisters in these large Mega-churches!

Love is birthed by intimacy and relationship that grows in small groups and fellowships where people get to know one another, and their love begins to flourish and form a strong bond. This is our greatest need in these last days to love as God loves!

Beloved, let us love one another, for God is love; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. I John 4:7,8
