The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul; The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple; The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart. The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes; the fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether. Psalm 19:7-9

The law of commandments convicts us of sin and brings us to confess and repent! We cannot get saved by just praying a prayer; we have to have a godly sorrow for our sin and confess before God. Millions have been drawn to the altar to pray the sinner's prayer, but there is no conviction or remorse for their sin, and they leave as lost as they were when they came!

It's not the prayer you pray it's the heart that opens up to God's Spirit. When I was saved, and the question arose, "Do you believe God will save you tonight?" I said yes! And I was immediately transformed into a new creation in Christ, born-again and destined to fulfil the ministry that he would give me.

If you prayed the sinner's prayer and there is no life within you, then do this: confess your sins before God, surrender your life to obey His will, and be willing to repent and turn away from an evil lifestyle! I promise if you do these things with an honest and pure heart, you will never be the same!

More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold. Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. Moreover, by them Your servant is warned, and in keeping them there is a great reward. Psalm 19:10-11

by Timothy Laughlin Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast (firm, immovable and faithful) spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your presence, and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation and uphold me by Your generous Spirit. Then I will teach transgressors Your ways, and sinners shall be converted to You. Psalm 51:10-13 Is it really possible to have a pure and clean heart, even when you have committed adultery and murder? The answer is a resounding, yes! Through confession, acknowledgment, and repentance, God will wash your sins away and remove them from as far as the east is from the west! He will renew your relationship with Him and restore your faith and joy in your salvation. Fear, doubt, and unbelief will leave, and peace will cover your spirit, soul, and body. The hole in your heart will be closed and filled with Holy Spirit presence! His powerful anointing will return, and sinners will be saved! David repented of his sins, and God forgave him and set him free from his transgressions and iniquities. Although God forgives us, we must remember that the consequences of our sins continue to follow us even though we repent. David suffered greatly during the rest of his life. Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God, the God of my salvation, and my tongue shall sing aloud of Your righteousness. O Lord, open my lips, and my mouth shall show forth Your praise. For You do not desire sacrifice, or else I would give it; You do not delight in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart— These, O God, you will not despise.
