In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when you are gathered together, along with my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus. I Corinthians 5:4,5

The apostle Paul rebuked the church at Corinth for allowing a man to engage in sexual immorality with his stepmother without removing him from the congregation, instead ignoring his sin that was worthy of death!

We don't hear about a sin unto death today in the church because we don't want to shake up the big tithers! This is what took Samson's life, a strongman with a stronghold who never had a relationship with God although he was anointed to destroy His enemies! He was a Nazirite who was supposed to keep his vows before God but continually went into prostitutes and even married a Philistine woman who he later lost to his best man!

Paul wasted no time in turning this man over to the devil for the destruction of his flesh that there might be hope of saving his soul! Samson was finally deceived by a Gentile seductress who sold him out to his enemies and succumbed to her wishes and died while entertaining his enemies.

Now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner, not even to eat with such a person. For what have I to do with judging those who are outside? Do you not judge those who are inside? But those who are outside God judges. Therefore, put away from yourselves the evil person. I Corinthians 5:11-13
