Therefore, if you died with Christ from the basic principles of the world, why, as though living in the world, do you subject yourselves to regulations? Jesus Christ died on the cross, shedding His blood to set us free from the law of commandments and the traditions and regulations of man! "Thou shalt not" no longer rules our lives, only our conscience, along with our counterpart, the Holy Spirit.
We are free from the doctrines of demons that hold us in bondage to their religious rules and regulations. The Holy Spirit is the One who convicts of sin, not man, but we must be careful in our freedom not to become stumbling blocks to those who are weak in faith.
Concerning food or drink, sabbaths or any other thing people hold dear, we mustn't become Pharisees and judge them, lest we become hypocrites and fall into sin!
These things indeed have an appearance of wisdom in self-imposed religion, false humility, and neglect of the body, but are of no value against the indulgence of the flesh. Colossians 2:23
