For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins. Hebrews 10:26

For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins. Hebrews 10:26

Willful sin is knowing that you are sinning continually without repentance and opens the door to demonic activity. We are not talking about a sin that is accidently committed and you immediately confess and ask for forgiveness. This is sin that one practices over and over such as drug addiction where you continue to use without stopping and even though each time you ask for forgiveness you continue to commit sin!

The danger of committing willful sin without repentance is you are trampling on the blood of Jesus and there is no forgiveness for willful sin, only judgment! And the judgment is allowing demons into your body who rob, kill and destroy. Leave your front door open tonight with the lights off and see what enters into your home, so it is with demons they see a door open, and they enter.

A woman was brought to Jesus that they had caught in the act of adultery and those who accused her said she was to be stoned and asked Jesus what He thought, and He said, "You without sin cast the first stone." Convicted, they walked off and Jesus asked the woman where her accusers were who condemned her and then He said to her, "I forgive you, go and sin no more, meaning for her to repent of her willful sins!

Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, and counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and has insulted the Spirit of grace? Hebrews 10:29

  PRACTICING SIN

I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things you wish. Galatians 5:16,17

Walking in the Spirit is denying the flesh access to your life to fulfill its lusts and pleasures! In order to win the war of the flesh and Spirit, one has to submit totally to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

This takes discipline and perseverance always on guard and taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. The apostle Paul spoke of "This body of death" a term describing what the Romans used to do to someone by chaining a corpse to a healthy person and eventually the bacteria and the disease would kill them. So it is with this body of our flesh if left to its own device, it will kill you!

Man is like a tree and depending on the fruit he bears will tell what kind of tree he is. Either he is bearing the fruit of the flesh or the fruit of the Spirit and this will tell where his eternal destination will be, Heaven or Hell!

Now the works of the flesh are evident which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of angers, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murder, drunkenness, revelries,  and the like; of which I tell  you beforehand, just as I also told you in times past, that those practice such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. Galatians 5:19-21

BEARING FRUIT FOR GOD

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control, against such there is no law. Galatians 5:22,23

This is the fruit borne from walking in the Spirit and as the scripture states against such there is no law and no judgment of the law. There are consequences for breaking God's law even deadly for those who continue to break it!

A lawyer approached Jesus and asked Him, "What shall I do to inherit eternal life?" Jesus answered, "What is written in the law?" The lawyer answered and said, "You shall love the Lord your God with all of your heart." Jesus answered and said to him, "Do this and you shall live!"

Eternal life involves a life-long love relationship with God that will not only eliminate the deeds of the flesh, but it will allow you to bear good fruit as you inherit His kingdom. To love Him is to walk with Him in the Spirit denying the deeds of the flesh.

Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. Galatians 6:6,7
