Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place?
He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, nor sworn deceitfully. Psalm 24:3-4
Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place?
He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, nor sworn deceitfully. Psalm 24:3-4
Do you have clean hands that haven't stolen or murdered? Have you worshiped idols or lied to someone? Do you have a pure heart? Not many have, especially those who have not been born again. Take Moses, for instance, before he met God!
Moses was born in deception in Egypt, hidden in the river by his mother. He grew up living a lie, being a Jew. Moses worshipped their false gods and bowed to their idols, but when he found out he was not an Egyptian, he murdered a man to hide his true birthright.
Finally exposed, he was exiled from Egypt and sent into the desert, where he met up with his Jewish people, who were shepherds. After his experience with God speaking out of a burning bush, Moses was transformed into a man of God who would lead God's people to the land of promise!
He shall receive blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. Psalm 24:5
