The ear that hears the rebukes of life will abide among the wise. He who disdains instruction despises his own soul, but he who heeds rebuke gets understanding. Proverbs 15:31-32

I have certainly had my share of life's rebukes on my journey with Jesus. I admit, I don't take them very well, but they have certainly humbled me over the years.
Rebukes come in many ways from the Lord, from strangers, and from family. A rebuke is an express sharp disapproval or criticism of someone because of their behavior or actions. I have been rebuked many times by people who either don't like what I write, or they think it is not the truth!
In any case, I always take it personally and take a hard look at what I wrote, and if I was wrong, I correct it! This is very humbling to someone like me who is always right! LOL
The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom, and before honor is humility. Proverbs 15:33
