Love is not provoked, thinks no evil, does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth. I Corinthians 13:5,6
There is only One that I can think of who is free from these things, the Lord Jesus Christ. The rest of us must discipline ourselves and take every thought captive in order to overcome the darkness within us and allow His truth to set us free!
When one is born again the love of Jesus is poured out through the anointing of the Holy Spirit and as the scripture states old things pass away and all things become new, that is until someone slaps you in the face and then the test comes. Turn the other cheek or knock their block off?
The attributes of Jesus and His character qualities, like fruit on a tree have to grow and become evident by these tests that come to us. Fruit trees don't bear fruit in the first years of growth and neither do we, it takes time and testing for the fruit of God's Spirit to manifest in us.
In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ. I Peter 1:6,7
