For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God? Now, “If the righteous one is scarcely saved, where will the ungodly and the sinner appear?” Therefore, let those who suffer according to the will of God commit their souls to Him in doing good, as to a faithful Creator. I Peter 4:17-19

I Peter 4:17-19
Jesus left us, His disciples, an example of what the house of God would look like. In three and a half years, He preached to thousands, healed the sick, cast out millions of demons, and raised the dead, but His church only had 120 sold-out disciples.
He would look like a failure today among the many Superstar preachers who have built "Mega" churches filled with millions of people, many of whom are deceived by following the flesh of man and not the Holy Spirit of God. Many preachers and ministers started out with a sincere heart, but pride, greed, lust, and money seduced them.
Today, many stars are falling from Heaven, and their Crystal Cathedrals and sparkly ministries are beginning to crumble! Two of the biggest have fallen from grace, whose leaders have been involved in gross immorality and the love of money to the point of imprisonment and even death!
Now the Pharisees, who were lovers of money, also heard all these things, and they derided Him. And He said to them, “You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For what is highly esteemed among men is an abomination in the sight of God. Luke 16:14-15
