Lawlessness

    And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. Matthew 24:12,13

Life in the fifties was totally different from today's madness. Our doors were unlocked, car keys left in the ignition, kids could walk downtown without the fear of being molested or kidnapped, but then something began to happen.

A spirit of rebellion began to draw kids into rock ' n ' roll, at first harmless, but as time went on, it progressed into songs by groups like Rage Against the Machine! Women's Lib came upon the scene, burning their bras and murdering the unborn. With the murder of God's children, judgment rained down from above!

Homosexuals came out of the closet, their perverted lifestyles normalized, and with it, AIDS, cancer, and many new and deadly diseases came upon the people. Respect for God, family, and His laws began to deteriorate as lawlessness began to grow out of control.

“Sin will be rampant everywhere, and the love of many will grow cold.” Matthew 24:12

WOE TO YOU WHO CALL EVIL GOOD, AND GOOD EVIL

In the last days, there will be very difficult times. For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful.” II Timothy 3:1,2

Everything has turned backwards as people protect the guilty and scorn the innocent. Sanctuary cities have hidden thousands of illegal aliens let in by the left, and when the authorities try to arrest and deport them, they scream bloody murder!

As if abortion wasn't bad enough, now children can choose their gender and allow demonized doctors to mutilate their young bodies without parental consent! People are identifying as animals, complete with their own handlers and even sandboxes for the "Cat people!"

The liberal left judges and lawyers let hardened criminals out of jail after the police do their best to take them off the streets. Murderers, rapists, crazed demon-possessed maniacs, and professional criminals are treated like victims and let out of jail or given light sentences.

Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight! Woe to men mighty at drinking wine, woe to men valiant for mixing intoxicating drink, who justify the wicked for a bribe, and take away justice from the righteous man! Isaiah 5:20-23

THE WRATH OF GOD

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest within them, for God has shown it to them. Romans 1:18,19

God's wrath, His hot anger and displeasure, is poured out on those who disobey His word and will! God hates homosexuality, not homosexuals; He hates their sin, but without repentance, Hell still awaits them. This is why they used to hide in a proverbial closet because of shame and guilt!

Galatians speaks of those who practice such things as immorality, fornication, and homosexuality shall not inherit the Kingdom of God. Remember Sodom and Gomorrah, which God destroyed for gross immorality! In fact, God also destroyed the whole world where the people's thoughts were evil continually with a great flood.

According to the Word, lawlessness will continue until the end, and the gospel shall be preached around the world. People will continue in their sins, and many will come to the Lord in repentance, but we as believers must endure and overcome in the name, power, blood, and authority of the Lord Jesus Christ!

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them. Romans 1:28-32
