But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you, then it shall come about that those whom you let remain of them will become as pricks in your eyes and as thorns in your sides, and they will trouble you in the land in which you live. Numbers 33:55
But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you, then it shall come about that those whom you let remain of them will become as pricks in your eyes and as thorns in your sides, and they will trouble you in the land in which you live. Numbers 33:55
When Israel crossed the Jordan into the land of Canaan, God told them to drive out the inhabitants of the land and destroy their molten images and their high places, but they refused to do it, and now they are suffering!
What we are seeing today in these last days is God's word being fulfilled in that Israel has disobeyed Him and is reaping the consequences of their disobedience! This is why Israel is considered a pariah by the nations of the world, and the land of Israel is even questioned about its ownership.
Many are praising Palestine and wanting a two-state solution, crying out to destroy Israel, "From the river to the sea!" In other words, a total annihilation! God loves Israel, but because of their disobedience and their rejection of the Lord Jesus Christ as their Messiah, all these things are coming upon them!
Moreover, it shall be that I will do to you as I thought to do to them. Numbers 33:56
THE WRATH OF GOD COMES UPON THE SONS OF DISOBEDIENCE
For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness. Romans 1:18
Before you cast stones at Israel, you had better take a hard look at Romans 1:18, which states that God's anger and wrath are for us in the New Testament as well! We can also be judged for our disobedience!
The above-mentioned scripture is condemning homosexuality and gross immorality, stating that He has given those who practice these things to uncleanliness. Today, the world has normalized sin. Homosexuality, pornography, and the whole trans-ideology and other perverted behavior are fine, but God's anger is coming down upon it.
Woe to you who call evil good and good evil is today's mantra. It seems everything is backwards, but that is the devil's plan to deceive and to change a normal mindset to a perverted one.
Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. Ephesians 5:6
THE WORKS OF THE FLESH
I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. Galatians 5:16-18
We as believers are to walk in the Spirit, led to keep God's law in our hearts. There is no forgiveness for willful sin because Jesus would have to die again to be our sacrifice.
Hebrews 10:26-31 speaks of this as a warning for those who would practice sin without repentance. It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God! The churches today, for the most part, have watered down the gospel and sugar-coated the message of this life!
The preceding scripture lists the works and deeds of the flesh, warning us that those who practice such things shall not enter the kingdom of God. So, be careful to walk in the light of the Holy Spirit's leading.
Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. Galatians 5:19-21
