Keep in mind, Isaiah is speaking to God's people who are backslidden, stiff-necked, and stubborn! He chose Israel above all the other people of the world, and he raised up prophets like Isaiah to turn them back to Him.
Aren't you glad we are not like them? FYI, we are just like them, and for this reason we have to have preachers to preach the truth of God's word and convey to us the whole counsel of God! We all, like sheep, have gone astray and need to be brought back to the flock. Today's churches, for the most part, don't have much fellowship or messages that can bring anyone under conviction.
We are entering the very last of the last days, and we need to get ready for the Lord's return. Multiple signs and wonders are happening on earth today, as well as multiple disasters, wars, and earthquakes! Signs in the skies, blood moons, and many signs in the stars. "ARE YOU READY?"
“Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the LORD, “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword”; for the mouth of the LORD has spoken. Isaiah 1:18-20
