I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. Galatians 1:6-8

But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. Galatians 1:6-8
The gospel of Jesus Christ is the good news of salvation by faith. It is not as complicated as some would make you believe; it is a simple surrender of one's heart, believing in the Savior's unselfish act of giving His life for us.
There are hundreds of tracts, books, and pamphlets on how to be saved; some are good, while others are not. An accurate illustration of one being saved is the thief on the cross, the first man to visibly be saved and washed in the supernatural cleansing of the blood.
Two criminals, one, unrepentant, the other acknowledged his sin, "We are punished justly." Then states that Jesus is Lord, a King with a kingdom, and asks to be remembered, and Jesus said, "Truly I say to you, today you will be with Me in paradise." No prayer, no baptism, didn't join the church, just a heartfelt acknowledgement that he was a sinner and believed Jesus was the Savior!
As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed. For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ but I make known to you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man. For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came through the revelation of Jesus Christ. Galatians 1:9-12
