For I the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me. Exodus 20:5
We have inherited the sins of our unfaithful ancestors which brings about curses of sickness, disease and infirmity upon not only us but our children also. This is why we must be saved because we have inherited the sin of Adam.
Jesus was bruised and beaten beyond recognition to break the generational curse of Adam. By being bruised He bled inside His body and the blood washed away our inherited sins and transgressions. It also healed our diseases and broke the generational curses of our ancestors and of Adam.
Our salvation and deliverance is a complete package brought about by a loving Savior who took upon Himself the sins of all mankind as well and taking the punishment that we deserved upon His body and finally gave His very life, all for us!
He was bruised for our iniquities. Isaiah 53:5
