Why do You stand afar off, O Lord? Why do You hide in times of trouble?

Sometimes, praying for your needs or your health is a test of your patience when the answer doesn't come all at once! I know because I have experienced waiting in faith, believing, and it doesn't come. So, do we lie down and quit? No!
God said, "When you have done all, stand!" That's the hard part: to stand and not give up. God does not lie, and He watches over His word to perform it! God's word is His bond, His promise to keep His word and perform that which you are asking for.
The armor of God and the shield of faith keep the flaming missiles of the enemy from clouding your resolve with fear, doubt, and unbelief, which give way to hopelessness. Stand and endure and be steadfast in your prayer of faith, and God will come through for you!
Therefore, take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Ephesians 6:13
