Listen to counsel and receive instruction, that you may be wise in your latter days. Proverbs 19:20
It is a shame that it normally takes a lifetime for someone to receive wisdom from the Lord. Because we didn't listen to instructions or receive Godly counsel. Attention span today is totally wiped out with all of our electronic devices that cloud our minds.
It seems that no one pays attention to our elders, our instructors, or our bosses. The Word says that we are to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ; in other words, we are to inventory our thought life and keep our minds free from the garbage of the world.
We, as believers, must nurture the mind of Christ given by the teaching of the Holy Spirit and the anointing He imparts to us. Our minds are the greatest computers ever created by our God, capable of holding the living, breathing Word of God!
There are many plans in a man’s heart; nevertheless, the Lord’s counsel—that will stand. Proverbs 19:21
