I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Romans 12:1,2

Presenting your body to God as a living sacrifice means that you are not your own; you have been bought with a price. Just as Jesus sacrificed His own life for us, we, in turn, sacrifice ours for Him!
Jesus, our Lamb, sacrificed on the cross, shed His blood in seven places, giving us healing, deliverance, and salvation. Like a worm to a butterfly, we are transformed into new creations in Christ; old things have passed away, and all things have become new. Upon our born-again experience, our minds must be renewed by the word of God.
God's word says for us to be in the world, but not of the world. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away.
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled. II Corinthians 10:3-6
