My God, My God, why have You forsaken me? Why are You so far from helping me, And from the words of my groaning? O my God, I cry in the daytime, but You do not hear. And in the night season, and I am not silent. Psalm 22:1-2

David cried out to God, "Why have you forsaken me?" Even Jesus cried out from the cross, "Eli, Eli, lama Sabachthani, (Which means, 'My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?'). Have you prayed and not been answered?

The word says, "Don't be anxious, but by prayer and supplication let your request be known." Supplication means a humble and earnest petition; in other words, to be sincere and honest with God and to humble oneself before Him!

Patience is not one of my virtues, and God tests it quite often. There have been times when I have prayed, and the answer came at once, and other times, such as now, a long but expectant wait! Even though we have not received an answer to our prayer, we cannot give up. He loves us and will bless us if we wait on Him!

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7
