The call to “Sing unto the LORD a new song” is a powerful invitation to worship that is fresh, creative, and rooted in God’s ongoing faithfulness. It is not just about singing a new melody, but about expressing new gratitude and praise in response to God’s present work in your life.
We, as believers, have every right to praise God for all the miraculous things He has done for our families and us! Glory to God in the highest who has blessed us with everything that pertains to life and godliness! Our health, our provision, our families, and our lives are so blessed that we should sing of the greatest of our Lord!
The word says that we should give God high praise and have a two-edged sword in our hand to defeat the powers of darkness! Spiritual warfare is an honor for believers, and we are empowered with an anointing to bind the enemy with chains and execute the written judgment! Praise God!
Let the saints be joyful in glory; let them sing aloud on their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand, to execute vengeance on the nations, and punishments on the peoples; to bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; to execute on them the written judgment— This honor have all His saints. Praise the Lord! Psalm 149:5-9
