But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep, for the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.  I Thessalonians 4:13-16

We are in the time of the Feast of Trumpets, and the Rapture could happen at any moment. "Are you ready?" Many don't believe it, even those who are born-again, but the word of God proves it's real, and will happen in the blink of an eye! (Note at bottom)

When the betrothed (bride to be) awaits the bridegroom, in the Jewish wedding, she doesn't know what time he will arrive until he appears with a shout! Behold! The bridegroom! This will be like the Lord Jesus descending from heaven with a shout!

This will be the most miraculous event ever in these last days as believers are caught up in the air to meet the Lord Jesus. As the scripture states, the dead in Christ will rise first!

Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus, we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore, comfort one another with these words. I Thessalonians 4:17,18

Your servant in Christ, Timothy Laughlin
Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ

Note: For believers in the Messiah, this feast is a picture of the rapture. When Jesus returns with the blowing of a trumpet from heaven, those who are not prepared to meet Him will tremble in unspeakable fear. But those of us who are ready to see our God will ascend and meet the Messiah in the air, just as Moses did when he went up the mountain to meet God after he heard the heavenly shofar blow.
