This is God's will for His disciples to deliver and to be delivered! All power has been given us for victory over all the powers of darkness! Jesus promised us that we would have even greater power and do greater miracles than He did!
Jesus gave us an example of His training and the equipping of His disciples, a must for the evangelical church of Jesus Christ! He took twelve men into the streets and showed them how to minister to those in need by healing, deliverance, and even raising the dead!
Jesus told His disciples to wait and obey the great commission and to lead them to do the greater works in His stead when He would ascend to His Heavenly Father. The first church obeyed, and they went out and preached the gospel, casting out demons and healing the sick in His name!
Revive me, O Lord, for Your name's sake! For Your righteousness' sake, bring my soul out of trouble. In Your mercy, cut off my enemies, and destroy all those who afflict my soul; for I am Your servant. Psalm 143:11-12
