God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though its waters roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with its swelling. Selah Psalm 46:1-3

A refuge is a place of safety, where we are protected from the storms of life! Though we might doubt that God is near us and at times we feel all alone, He is our helper and protector, always watching us as a good parent would keep their eye on their child!

We are the city of God, His tabernacle. (a tent used as a sanctuary for the Ark of the Covenant by the Israelites during the Exodus and until the building of the Temple) We are God's dwelling place, where the ark, His presence, fills His house with light and blessing.

The river is His anointing that empowers us in these trying times of trial and tribulation! As we enter the last days and prepare to meet the Lord, who is always with us, surrounding us with His Holy Spirit and giving charge to the holy angels to assist us on our journey!

There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High. God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved; God shall help her, just at the break of dawn. The nations raged, the kingdoms were moved; He uttered His voice, the earth melted. The LORD of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah Psalm 46:4-7
