Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies. Psalm 103:1-4
Jesus has redeemed us with His blood, and we have been purchased from the bondage of sin and death. That which has held us captive has released us by His ransom, paid in full by His death, burial, and resurrection!
We have been crowned as a royal priesthood, set apart to serve the King and establish His kingdom on the earth by the preaching of the gospel! His lovingkindness and mercy have secured our eternal position in Heaven forever with Him.
Jesus paid the price with His own blood and made a covenant with us to forever forgive us and release us from all guilt and shame! His love for us is unfathomable; it cannot be measured or understood in human terms, only by supernatural discernment!
Therefore, laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking, as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby, if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious. Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. I Peter 2:1-5
