I began in the woods with a family of five living in a bus, started a mission on the highway, and met an angel before starting a ministry on a farm. In my previous Message, I mentioned a man who came out of prison who was shot and killed in a drug deal. His name was Sammy, and I had known him since elementary school.
Before Sammy was killed, he came to my bible studies and brought a couple of blondes he named Hammerheads who both were killed crossing the highway. It wasn't long before I had a residential ministry, and a girl addicted to heroin came in and progressed in our program until we decided to train her for staff, but one day she came to me and said she wanted to leave because she missed the needle!
I told her she would get AIDS, but she didn't listen, and the first time she used she got HIV which later turned into full-blown AIDS! That's when I affectionately nicknamed her "Hammerhead!" That was over 36 years ago, and she is still alive trying her best to serve the Lord Jesus. Even though she falls she gets up and keeps on doing her best and we keep up with her and love her as a sister in the Lord!
I shall not die, but live and declare the works of the Lord. The Lord has chastened me severely, but He has not given me over to death. Psalm 118:17,18
Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. Psalm 118:29
