Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. II Timothy 2:15
The bible is one of the most divisive books in the world in the hands of the novice who hasn't studied it! I have been studying it for 45 years and feel like I have barely scratched the surface of this vast book!
Within this divine book, which holds the wisdom, knowledge, and understanding of God, written by men but given by the Holy Spirit, is a vast ocean of supernatural revelation. The bread of life, the seed of Heaven, and the living, breathing word of the almighty God, is unfathomable to the human mind to grasp.
The scripture says for us to ask for daily bread to sustain us and feed our spirits so that we can grow in faith and in wisdom. It is important for us to study and seek the Lord daily to build a dialogue with God.
For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account. Hebrews 4:12,13
