The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the house we are building is the temple of the Lord! We are God's house where His Spirit dwells, and this house must be clean of all sin and rebellion. It must also be kept healthy and strong for God to use it for His glory!
For the Divine Spirit to indwell a human body is a supernatural work and plan of God. When the Lord Jesus gave up His life on the cross, another life was born, the human replica of the Lord Jesus on earth! Jesus ascended to the Father to ever make intercession for us, His ambassadors of grace. We are now the supernatural representation of the Lord Jesus Christ on the earth! The Body of Christ!
When Jesus ascended to the Father, He sent us His Holy Spirit to indwell a human body to continue His work and finish His mission and mandate for His people. No other religion, sect, or cult can boast of such a supernatural work of grace by the Divine Savior of all mankind. We are His temple and body in His stead.
Therefore, laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking, as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby, if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious. Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. I Peter 2:1-5
