In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory. Ephesians 1:13,14

When we hear the truth of the gospel, it convicts our hearts that we have sinned against God, and so we believe, and then we are sealed with the Holy Spirit as one would put a cork in a bottle.

As the word states, we are sealed unto redemption; in other words, the Holy Spirit is given as a guarantee of our salvation, until we, who have been purchased with the blood of Christ, are redeemed. At that time, we take on immortality in eternal glory.

Believed, sealed, and saved, we are blessed with all spiritual blessings and seated in heavenly places! Our eyes are opened to the mysteries of Christ and the wisdom and revelation of God!

That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places. Ephesians 1:17-20
