Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: He who leads with diligence. Romans 12:4-8

Lead, follow, or get out of the way as the old saying states holds a lot of truth because to lead you must be out front of those whom you are leading! When I was in Marine Corps boot camp, they made me guide over our platoon. The guide leads the platoon with the flag out front and sets the pace for those who are marching. Problem being I only lasted one day because I couldn't march straight!

Kingdom leadership is different from the world because in order to lead one must lead those who are being led to be led by the Holy Spirit! Another important thing to remember is the fact that those who are first shall be last, in other words one must lead with all humility, giving honor to those he leads! Jesus was our example of Kingdom leadership leading His disciples to follow Him as He displayed His ministry before them.

As believers we must be diligent to follow only those who are truly led by the Holy Spirit because as the word warns there are many deceivers, corrupt and only concerned with their own selfish ambition. You will know them by their fruit!

That we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the Head, Christ. Ephesians 4:14,15
