Do not cast me off in the time of old age, do not forsake me when my strength fails. Psalm 71:9
Do not cast me off in the time of old age, do not forsake me when my strength fails. Psalm 71:9
We are all going to get old, some of us are already there, but that is not yet the end until we draw our last breath! We still have time to share the gospel, intercede for those in need and give out the wisdom that our gray hair represents.
As the world spirals out of control into a demonic new world order I am afraid the younger generations are not equipped to handle the ongoing stress of life and the many trials they will suffer before the glorious coming of our Lord Jesus. We still have the anointing of the Holy Spirit and the wisdom of God to enable us to minister and share our life experiences as witnesses of Jesus.
With that in mind ask God what He wants you to do to finish your race and leave a legacy for the next generation. I went to the funeral of an old friend whom I never heard preach a sermon or witness in the streets, but he was always there to help anyone in need, his legacy was that he had more grandchildren and family members at the service than those who attended! His life was a testimony of the grace and mercy of God!
Now also when I am old and gray headed O God, do not forsake me until I declare your strength to this generation. Psalm 71:18
