Before we gave our hearts to Jesus, we had no hope, only relying on our own strength and know-how! Even though we were lost, I believe God was watching over us, giving us a chance to be saved from destruction!
I can't believe how evil and ignorant I was, never considering the outcome of a wasted life! I have a friend who doesn't believe in Hell, and we are discussing the subject of why. I really don't understand how we can reject all of His benefits and blessings, thinking that every good thing comes from our own actions. It is also hard to fathom why a loving God would send us to a place of torment forever because we rejected His Son!
If you have never given your life and heart to Jesus, not just praying a prayer, or getting baptized, or joining a church, but truly surrendering every fiber of your heart to Him who died for you! THEN STOP NOW! Repent and cry out for forgiveness and surrender your life into His hands before it's too late! He loves you, and He is coming for us all in the clouds of glory!
The Lord is your keeper; The Lord is your shade at your right hand. The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and even forevermore. Psalm 121:5-8
