When Jesus went to the cross to make propitiation for our sins, to whom the judgment was do, after His resurrection, He did away with the old priesthood! The veil of separation was torn in two, and the need for a human priest was done away with!
Jesus Christ is now our High Priest who has made propitiation (the act of gaining or regaining the favor or goodwill of someone, namely God). We can now come before the very throne of the Most High through the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ! Note: There is no human mediator, priest, or Holy father, but God! Do not be deceived!
Jesus suffered for our sins and was tempted in all things that He might know how to come to our aid. Born in human form and feeling, suffered and died as a man, but rose again as King of all kings, in a supernatural body, to ever make intercession for us.
For in that He Himself has suffered, being tempted, He is able to aid those who are tempted. Hebrews 2:18
