He has made my mouth like a sharp sword; in the shadow of His hand, He has hidden me and made me a polished shaft; in His quiver He has hidden me. Isaiah 49:2
When I began this journey after having been born again, set free from drugs and alcohol, I had in my heart a desire to become a "Famous Preacher" and at a meeting with some of the current ones I met a man who changed my direction!
This man whom I had never met showed me the poor and downtrodden in my own city and from that point in my life God led me into a ministry to see hundreds set free from drugs and delivered from the bondage of sin! My heart was transformed from natural to supernatural in the blink of an eye. Although I have reached thousands with the writing God gives me there was no fanfare or applause only the satisfaction of pleasing the Lord!
As I had come to find out there are many of God's polished shafts in His quiver, arrows that pierce the hearts of men, hidden away but used mightily by God Himself. It is better to be hidden in the shadow of God's hand than to be recognized and adored by the world.
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91:1
