This is the voice of a demon who disguises itself in many ways. Demons have no gender; they possess people with seduction, temptation, and control. Many a mighty man of God has succumbed to its snares and traps, including myself!
Two of the strongest were Samson and David, but these mighty men were brought down by a Spirit of Jezebel! The Jezebel spirit is primarily motivated by its own agenda and seeks to dominate or manipulate others, especially those in positions of authority. It often targets spiritual leaders, attempting to neutralize or discredit them through fear, discouragement, or character assassination, causing leaders to flee from their appointed roles.
Take a modern-day mighty man, Pastor Robert Morris of Gateway church, who committed immorality with a young lady in his early ministry. I believe he repented and God blessed him, but he didn't follow through by helping the young lady and allowing his sin to be exposed! You see the outcome: God brought him to his knees, and he lost everything, even spending time in jail! Jezebel won another one!
Immediately he went after her, as an ox goes to the slaughter, or as a fool to the correction of the stocks, till an arrow struck his liver. As a bird hastens to the snare, he did not know it would cost his life. Now therefore, listen to me, my children; pay attention to the words of my mouth: Do not let your heart turn aside to her ways, do not stray into her paths; for she has cast down many wounded, and all who were slain by her were strong men. Her house is the way to hell, descending to the chambers of death. Proverbs 7:22-27
