The Supernatural Man

     I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another so that you do not do the things that you wish. Galatians 5:16,17

We are born in a natural human body that contains our spirit, then, when we are born again or born of the spirit, we become a new creature. As the human body receives the seed of man, causing pregnancy, so the spiritual seed, the Word, produces a new creation, a supernatural man.

    The supernatural man lives in the natural man or fleshly man, and these are in opposition to one another, so the spiritual man must overcome its human counterpart! In order to walk in the Spirit, we must be baptized in the Holy Spirit to receive power from on high to be able to conquer the fleshly man and operate in the gifts of His Spirit.

Baptism in the Spirit produces power from on High, the gifts of the Spirit, and the boldness to carry out God's plan for our lives in His will! It is imperative that we receive baptism in the Spirit; without it, we will not be able to walk in the Spirit.

    If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Galatians 5:25

YOU SHALL RECEIVE POWER

    And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have heard from Me; for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.” Acts 1:4,5

God's promise to empower His people and make them into One Supernatural Man was an outpouring of His Holy Spirit! This was the beginning of a new paradigm; instead of a temple and priest, God would make His Son the High Priest, and the supernatural people of God would be His temple.

This powerful outpouring was meant to be received and then shared among the people of God forever by the laying on of hands and the preaching of the word! This miraculous transition would be the supernatural expression of the Lord Jesus Christ on the earth in His people. The New Man was birthed at Pentecost and anointed to spread the gospel and make disciples.

As they moved out on Day One, speaking in tongues and interpreting Peter's message and 3000 came to the Lord, who then called for their families to come and be saved. The number of people saved in the months and years to come was astronomical! This is our mandate who have received the baptism in the Spirit and the calling to make disciples!

     "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth." Acts 1:8

ANOINTED TO SERVE

   When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. Acts 2:1-4

    Jesus had ascended, and the Holy Spirit descended into the New Man, empowering him to become the supernatural expression of the Lord Jesus Christ and dwell in a living, breathing human body of Christ.

    Many miss what is happening on this glorious day when a supernatural God came to live His supernatural life in us! We are so programmed to see the church as a building with a pastor and a steeple that we are missing what God has done, and the outcome is a dead and lifeless tomb, as Jesus said, "Full of dead men's bones and all uncleanness!"

    The old way was done away with and replaced with a new and living way, a supernatural way inaugurated with the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, who is our High Priest forever making intercession for us!

    Now this is the main point of the things we are saying: We have such a High Priest, who is seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens, a Minister of the sanctuary (Us) and of the true tabernacle which the Lord erected, and not man. Hebrews 8:1,2
