And certain men came down from Judea and taught the brethren, “Unless you are circumcised according to the custom of Moses, you cannot be saved.” Acts 15:1
From the beginning of the church of the Lord Jesus Christ, there has been much dissension over the doctrine of salvation! The Jews of the sect of the Pharisees were rising, saying that for one to be saved, one had to be circumcised!
Jesus died to shed His blood to save us, everyone who believes shall be saved, no ifs, ands or buts! The devil, however, has tried to add to salvation, and many have been deceived by his deceptive and deadly doctrine of demons! Remember the thief on the cross, he wasn't circumcised, baptized, or anything else, he only acknowledged Jesus as Lord and believed!
The church has been plagued with this problem for eons, and because of this deception, there has been much division and dissension! So, I guess women go to hell, even though women can be circumcised. I don't think that was ever practiced in those days, but it is prevalent today in Africa!
I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. Galatians 1:6-8
