He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide (dwell) under the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91:1
When we stood in the shadow of our parents as little children, we felt safe and secure and as believers we now stand in the Shadow of our Father God! This is that secret place of protection and the tabernacle of His presence.
The shawl that the Jews wore was called a Tallit that symbolized the tabernacle, that secret place of prayer. When the woman with the issue of blood touched the hem of Christ's garment, she would have touched one of the tassels. The “tallit” also served as a prayer shawl, which a person would read an inscription that is embroidered into the garment.
Our heavenly Father is our place of protection and the tabernacle of His presence that overshadows our lives and hides us under His wings from the onslaught of the wicked and the assault of the powers of darkness!
I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust." Surely, He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the perilous pestilence. Psalm 91:2,3
