Now this is the main point of the things we are saying: We have such a High Priest, who is seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens, a Minister of the sanctuary and of the true tabernacle which the Lord erected, and not man. Hebrews 8:1,2
Now this is the main point of the things we are saying: We have such a High Priest, who is seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens, a Minister of the sanctuary and of the true tabernacle which the Lord erected, and not man. Hebrews 8:1,2
In previous messages, I have written concerning Jesus doing away with the old priesthood and how Satan has dragged it up from the bowels of antiquity to deceive us! When Christ died on the cross, the old was done away with, and a new and living way was established.
Jesus became the High Priest and the Mediator of a new covenant. There is no longer a human priest, pastor, or pope to bring us before God; the blood of Christ allowed our entrance to the throne of God. There is no holy father on earth, no holy sanctuary but us, and we confess our sins to One, to God the true Holy Father through the blood of Christ.
Do not be deceived! Baptism doesn't save us, nor communion, nor the rosary, nor mass, all religious traditions created by man. We as believers are the "Body of Christ," the holy sanctuary of God!
Therefore, laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking, as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby, if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious. Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. I Peter 2:1-5
