Blessed is that man who makes the LORD his trust, and does not respect the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies. Many, O LORD my God, are Your wonderful works which You have done; and Your thoughts toward us cannot be recounted to You in order. Psalm 40:4-5

Have you ever wondered how often God thinks of us or how many works He has performed on our behalf? This is why we journal, to record the many answered prayers and miracles He has done in our lives!

I started journaling 45 years ago, until God took me out of the ministry I was in, and sat me down in front of a computer and said to me, "Write!" Reluctantly, I began to hunt and peck my way to becoming a writer and now an author of Christian books and manuals!

Now my journaling is in the form of devotionals that I share with you, my partners, and friends. Many of my writings are about personal miracles and miraculous works that God has done in my life! I pray you would also journal the mighty works that God has done in your life as a testimony to a lost world!

If I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered. Psalm 40:5

by Timothy Laughlin Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast (firm, immovable and faithful) spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your presence, and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation and uphold me by Your generous Spirit. Then I will teach transgressors Your ways, and sinners shall be converted to You. Psalm 51:10-13 Is it really possible to have a pure and clean heart, even when you have committed adultery and murder? The answer is a resounding, yes! Through confession, acknowledgment, and repentance, God will wash your sins away and remove them from as far as the east is from the west! He will renew your relationship with Him and restore your faith and joy in your salvation. Fear, doubt, and unbelief will leave, and peace will cover your spirit, soul, and body. The hole in your heart will be closed and filled with Holy Spirit presence! His powerful anointing will return, and sinners will be saved! David repented of his sins, and God forgave him and set him free from his transgressions and iniquities. Although God forgives us, we must remember that the consequences of our sins continue to follow us even though we repent. David suffered greatly during the rest of his life. Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God, the God of my salvation, and my tongue shall sing aloud of Your righteousness. O Lord, open my lips, and my mouth shall show forth Your praise. For You do not desire sacrifice, or else I would give it; You do not delight in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart— These, O God, you will not despise.
