“Now therefore, listen to me, my children, for blessed are those who keep my ways. Hear instruction and be wise, and do not disdain it. Blessed is the man who listens to me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors. For whoever finds me finds life and obtains favor from the Lord; but he who sins against me wrongs his own soul; all those who hate me love death.” Proverbs 8:32-36

God's instruction for us is to listen to Him; He desires to speak to us, and early in the morning is the best time. This is why I write and send the devotional messages, because it gives you a place to start your dialogue with your heavenly Father.
Early on in my walk with God, I was taught to have a quiet time every morning to seek His face, meditate on His word, and listen for His still small voice. If you will discipline yourself to begin this daily quiet time, I promise God will bless you, and you will become close to Him in a personal relationship.
My prayer for you is to develop this daily discipline of meditation and prayer and bring you close to God who longs to meet with you every day! Arise early, shut out the noise, and be still and know that He is near to you and desires this time of devotion.
“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. For by me your days will be multiplied, and years of life will be added to you. If you are wise, you are wise for yourself, and if you scoff, you will bear it alone.” Proverbs 9:10-12
