“Now therefore, listen to me, my children, for blessed are those who keep my ways. Hear instruction and be wise, and do not disdain it. Blessed is the man who listens to me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors. Proverbs 8:32-34

Blessed is the man who listens, watches, and waits at God's door for His input and wisdom for whatever you are asking for. Psalms 1:1-2 says that the man who meditates on God's word will be blessed.
Be still and listen for God's still small voice and watch for His answer to your question, then wait until He has spoken, and He will bless you for keeping His ways. This is what a dialogue with God is like, for the two of you to have an ongoing conversation.
Once you are disciplined to seek Him early every day before you race out the door into the chaos of the world, your relationship will be strengthened, and you will find His life!
For whoever finds me finds life and obtains favor from the Lord; but he who sins against me wrongs his own soul; all those who hate me love death.” Proverbs 8:35-36
