Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. Philippians 4:6
Coming out of a life of drugs and alcohol and newly saved, I went back into the equipment business. My friend from Alabama moved to Ft. Worth and was training me in the ministry to the poor.
One morning, my friend and I were at my office, praying, and suddenly in the Spirit, the Lord Jesus entered and told me to come with Him to a cemetery that I used to cut school and go to in Aurora, Tx. We arrived, and the wind was blowing the old sign, which said, "I am the resurrection and the life!" We pulled into an old brush arbor, and Jesus spoke to me about Lazarus.
He proceeded to tell me that when He raised Lazarus, he was wrapped in grave clothes that symbolized to me the worries of the world and the deceitfulness of riches. He then said to me, "Choose this day whom you will serve!" I said, "You Lord!" We went back to the office, and an officer was there to serve me with bankruptcy papers. This day, I was ordained and called into the ministry!
And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7
