My son do not forget my law, but keep My commands; for length of days and long life and peace they will add to you. Proverbs 3:1,2
God's word gives us the keys to a long life, full of peace and provision for those who trust Him and abide by His commands! His word is life, but many ignore His promises and miss the Divine blessing He has provided!
When we walk in the flesh, we are fed natural human food, but when we walk in the Spirit we are given supernatural food, the bread of life! The word of God nourishes and strengthens us as we absorb the life-giving nutrition into our spirit. As we meditate on His promise's faith begins to grow into supernatural power and gives us what we are believing for.
We as believers must claim the thousands of promises given to us by faith and hold up His word before Him that He might give us the desires of our heart. He is faithful to trust and believe and He always keeps His word.
For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul (flesh) and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4:12
