"Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give to you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk." Acts 3:6
Peter and John came by a man born lame begging at the gate of the temple, and they told him to rise up and walk and he took him by the hand and immediately he was healed. Those who were there were amazed at this man leaping and praising God that he was healed!
Peter reproved them and accused them of choosing a murderer instead of Jesus and killed the Prince of life whom God raised from the dead, of which we are witnesses. And His name, through faith in His name, has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.
The new church of the Lord Jesus Christ was doing what it was called to do, to be Christ's body on the earth in His stead! This is our mandate, to walk in the power of God representing the Lord Jesus Christ who lives in us!
"Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, "and that He may send Jesus Christ who was preached to you before." Acts 3:19,20
