Part 1:
Two things I request of You (Deprive me not before I die): remove falsehood and lies far from me; give me neither poverty nor riches. Proverbs 30:7-8
During my life, I've been rich, and I have been poor, rich is better lol, no, not really, blessed by God is better. When I was saved, I was broke with nothing to show for 33 years of life, and after my salvation experience, it took years to learn how to really live by faith!
Shortly after I was saved, I was invited to the local church, where I was taught to tithe. The first time I had my last hundred dollars and put it in the offering and I made $ 1,000 that week. I continued to tithe until I was giving five hundred a week! Having been set free from drugs, I went back into the equipment business and began to prosper, but the Lord had a different plan for my life.
One morning, while praying with a friend at the office, Jesus came in and told me to go with Him to a cemetery that I used to frequent when I was in high school. I couldn't see Him or hear Him; it was all in the Spirit. Anyway, we arrived, and He told me I was like Lazarus, when He raised him from the dead, and said he was wrapped in grave clothes, and so was I, with the worries of the world and the deceitfulness of riches! Then He said, "Choose this day whom you will serve!"
Feed me with the food allotted to me; lest I be full and deny You, and say, “Who is the Lord?” Or lest I be poor and steal and profane the name of my God. Proverbs 30:8-9
STAY TUNED FOR PART II. CHOOSE THIS DAY
