For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end, upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this. Isaiah 9:6-7

Isaiah prophesied of the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ, and it came to pass! There aren't many prophets today who can predict what tomorrow may bring, much less the birth of a King hundreds of years in the future!
Don't disregard the Old Testament or its prophets because it is for us who believe today, and many of its prophecies have come to pass. God's word is good today, tomorrow, and forever! And Jesus is the same today and forever. If you have surrendered and submitted to the Lord Jesus and confessed your sins, He will dwell within you forever!
Although we are not Israel, we are those who have been grafted into the Vine of Christ! If we abide in Him, He will abide in us, making us the Vineyard of the Lord of Hosts! If then we are His vineyard, then we must bear good fruit!
And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins." So, all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet (Isaiah) saying: "Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel," which is translated, "God with us." Matthew 1:21-23
