And moreover, because the Preacher (Solomon) was wise, he still taught the people knowledge; yes, he pondered and sought out and set in order many proverbs. The Preacher sought to find acceptable words; and what was written was upright words of truth. The words of the wise are like goads, and the words of scholars are like well-driven nails, given by one Shepherd. And further, my son, be admonished by these. Of making many books there is no end, and much study is wearisome to the flesh. Ecclesiastes 12:9-12

For a wise man, teaching is a way of utilizing his wisdom by giving what God has given him. Solomon was a teacher with a vast accumulation of God-given wisdom and knowledge to be applied to his life and others. He enriched many with what God enriched him with!
As the Preacher says, "The words of the wise are like well-driven nails!" In other words, when a nail is struck accurately, it accomplishes what it is sent to do, and that is to strike the heart and mind with knowledge and revelation.
The conclusion is this: "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom." Solomon knew this when he asked God to give wisdom rather than wealth, but that very wisdom gave him wealth! That in itself is wisdom. AMEN!
Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is man’s all. For God will bring every work into judgment, including every secret thing, whether good or evil. Ecclesiastes 12:13-14
