Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. Psalm 23:4
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. Psalm 23:4
When death overshadows us, darkness falls upon us bringing fear, doubt and unbelief. David experienced this when Goliath, a nine-foot giant overshadowed him, but God was with him, and victory was won!
Imagine as a child standing in the shadow of your earthly father, a safe place to be with no fear. As believers we live under the shadow of the Almighty! The valley of the shadow of death is that place where death darkens our faith and hope bringing depression, fear, and hopelessness.
When you find yourself in the valley, rejoice, count it all joy, lift up you head and praise God, fear not, and put your trust in Him! He is faithful to bring about your victory!
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High, shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty, I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in Him I will trust." Psalm 91:1,2
