Love does not behave rudely, does not seek its own. I Corinthians 13:5
I have seen my share of rude people, sadly many were in the churches I visited. There have been times when I entered a church that no one said a word to me, it was like I was a ghost! The traditions, doctrines and denominations of men have set them up to seek their own and to the lost they have become rude!
The scripture exhorts us not to have divisions among us but we as the people of God are some of the most divided people on the planet! The devil is a master when it comes to division by exalting certain groups above another and making idols of preachers and prophets. When he took Jesus up on the pinnacle of the temple and tempted Him to jump off, he quoted scripture telling Him the angels would catch Him and people would be astonished and proclaim Him King!
Jesus didn't listen to him, and he left him for a more opportune time to tempt him. Jesus invited the lost, the poor, downtrodden and sick to come and hear Him and receive healing and deliverance. Everyone was welcome and multitudes were transformed, healed and set free of whatever ailed them! What a wonderful ministry we would have if we would only come together as One body called to minister in the name of Jesus Christ!
That there should be no schism (division) in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another. And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it. I Corinthians 12:25,26
