Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it. Psalm 81:10
Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it. Psalm 81:10
This was a word for the children of Israel when God brought them out of Egypt, a promise for their provision. Years ago, an old German preacher took God at His word and made a vow not to ask man for anything!
George Mueller was called to start an orphanage for the children in England who worked in the factories in horrible conditions, and he prayed, and God provided a home. He also prayed for all the furniture, beds, utensils, dishes, and bedding. Then he prayed for the staff and God provided everything! On opening day, expecting a flood of children, no one showed up.
Perplexed, George cried out to God asking why? The Lord answered and said, "You didn't pray for orphans!" George then prayed and the next day the children came, and the ministry began. The orphanage grew to over a thousand orphans when one night at dinner they had no food. George sat them down at the table, blessed the food they didn't have and before long the breadman, the butcher and the dairy man showed up and the children ate! After George died the orphanages operated for another 100 years practicing the same faith as George Mueller did and God blessed them!
"Therefore, I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe you receive them, and you will have them." Mark 11:24
